2. Data Processing in Connection with Our Website
2.1. General Information
As part of our website and webshops, we process data that you provide to us (for example when placing orders), logs (our servers record who submits requests for security reasons), and cookies (these are small text files stored on your device that contain information used to recognize you again).
The web server for operating our website is technically run by Vercel.com as a data processor.
2.2. Data processing for the operation and security of our website and online shop (server logs)
Purpose of processing: When you access our website, the web server collects usage data (so-called server logs). Collecting this data is necessary to technically enable the connection to our server and the use of the website. In addition, this data is used to defend against and analyze attacks.
The following information is collected: The IP address of the requesting device, together with the date, time, request, which file is being requested (name and URL), the amount of data transferred to you, a message indicating whether the request was successful, identification data of the browser and operating system used, as well as the website from which access took place (if access occurs via a link).
Legal basis for processing: Your data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) in ensuring the operation of the service and system security, as well as enforcing legal claims (e.g. against hackers).
Storage period: The server logs are stored for a maximum of 6 months.
2.3. Data processing in the context of making contact and correspondence
Purpose of processing: When you contact us (e.g. by email, contact form or telephone), we process the data you provide in the course of making contact, such as your name, address, telephone number, etc., insofar as this is necessary to handle and respond to your enquiry.
Legal basis for processing: Your data is processed for the purpose of carrying out pre-contractual measures and/or fulfilling a contractual relationship (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR), or is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR), namely maintaining correspondence and organizing the handling of your inquiry.
Storage period: We process your data for as long as is necessary to handle your inquiry and, beyond that, for a further three years after our last contact with you in case of any follow-up inquiries.
4.2. Data processing in the context of the customer account
Purpose of processing: If you register for our webshop on our website and create a customer account, we process the data you provide during registration (name, address, email address, etc.) for the creation of your customer account and for handling your product purchases and services.
If you choose not to provide this information, we will be unable to open a customer account for you.
Legal basis for processing: Your data is processed for the purpose of carrying out pre-contractual measures and fulfilling a contractual relationship (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).
Further information: You can delete your customer account at any time. You can request the deletion of your user account by email at [email protected]. Once you have submitted your request, your customer account will be deleted within 14 days at the latest.
Storage period: We process your data for as long as your customer account remains registered.
4.3. Data processing in the context of an order
Purpose of processing: When you order products from us via the webshop, for example, we process your data to handle your order and to answer any questions you may have in connection with that order.
If you choose not to provide this information, we will be unable to process your order.
Legal basis for processing: Your data is processed for the purpose of carrying out pre-contractual measures and fulfilling a contractual relationship (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).
Storage period: We process your data only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the contractual relationship or to comply with legal obligations (such as tax and corporate record-keeping requirements). As a rule, we retain records for seven years in accordance with § 132 BAO.
5. Recipients
We may transmit your personal data to the following categories of recipients: banks, legal representatives, tax advisors and certified public accountants, auditors, courts, administrative authorities, collection agencies, external financiers, contractual and business partners, insurance companies, transport companies, and suppliers.
We also engage processors who handle personal data solely on our behalf and strictly in accordance with our instructions.
As a rule, we only transfer your personal data to recipients within the EEA. If personal data is transferred to recipients in third countries for which there is no adequacy decision by the European Commission, we take appropriate measures—such as concluding EU standard contractual clauses—to ensure an adequate level of data protection. Upon request, we will provide you with a copy of any EU standard contractual clauses that may have been concluded.
6. Storage Period
Unless otherwise specified above for the respective data processing activity, we generally store your personal data only for as long as is necessary to achieve the specific purpose of that data processing.
In addition, we store your personal data for as long and to the extent that this is necessary to pursue or defend legal claims, or to comply with statutory retention obligations.

If processing is carried out on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent before its withdrawal.
If you believe that our processing of your personal data violates applicable data protection law, or that your data protection rights have been infringed in any other way, you have the option to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
