We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law. In addition, where and to the extent that the EU GDPR applies, we process personal data on the following legal bases in connection with Art. 6 para. 1 GDPR:

Legitimate interests particularly include our commercial interest in being able to provide our website, ensuring information security, enforcing our own legal claims, and complying with Swiss law.
We process personal data for as long as necessary to achieve the respective purpose or purposes. If we are subject to longer retention obligations under statutory or other legal requirements, we restrict the processing accordingly.
Cookie Privacy Policy
This website uses cookies. These are small text files that make it possible to store specific, user-related information on the user’s device while they are using the website. Cookies allow us in particular to determine how often our pages are used and how many users visit them, to analyze how the site is used, and to make our offering even more user-friendly. Cookies remain stored beyond the end of a browser session and can be accessed again when you return to the site. If you do not want this, you should configure your internet browser so that it refuses to accept cookies.
You can object in general to the use of cookies for online marketing purposes, especially in the case of tracking, via the US site http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. Furthermore, you can prevent cookies from being stored by disabling them in your browser settings. Please note that this may mean not all functions of this online offering can be used.
Privacy policy for SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content—such as inquiries you send to us as the site operator—this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of your browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser’s address bar.
When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, any data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Privacy Policy for Server Log Files
The provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in so‑called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These include:
- Browser type and browser version
- operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of server request
This data cannot be associated with specific individuals. It is not combined with data from other sources. We reserve the right to review this data at a later time if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.
Third-Party Services
This website may use Google Maps to embed maps, Google Invisible reCAPTCHA to protect against bots and spam, and YouTube to embed videos.
These services of the American company Google LLC use, among other things, cookies and, as a result, data is transmitted to Google in the USA. We assume that, within this context, no personal tracking takes place solely through the use of our website.
Google has committed to providing adequate data protection in accordance with the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield frameworks.
Further information can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy.
Privacy Policy for Contact Form
If you send us an inquiry via the contact form, the information you provide in the form, including the contact details you enter there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
Privacy Policy for Newsletter Data
If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter offered on this website, we require your email address and information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No additional data is collected. We use this data exclusively to send you the requested information and do not share it with third parties.
You can revoke your consent to the storage of your data and email address, as well as their use for sending the newsletter, at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter.
Newsletter2Go
This website uses Newsletter2Go to send newsletters. The provider is Newsletter2Go GmbH, Nürnberger Straße 8, 10787 Berlin, Germany.
Newsletter2Go is a service that can be used to organize and analyze the sending of newsletters, among other things. The data you enter for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter is stored on Newsletter2Go’s servers in Germany.
If you do not want your data to be analyzed by Newsletter2Go, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a corresponding link in every newsletter. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on our website.
Data analysis by Newsletter2Go
With the help of Newsletter2Go, we are able to analyze our newsletter campaigns. This allows us, for example, to see whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links, if any, were clicked. In this way, we can also determine which links are clicked particularly often.
We can also see whether certain predefined actions were carried out after opening or clicking (conversion rate). This allows us, for example, to see whether you made a purchase after clicking on the newsletter.
Newsletter2Go also enables us to segment our newsletter recipients into different categories (“clusters”). For example, we can group newsletter subscribers by age, gender, or place of residence. This allows us to tailor our newsletters more precisely to each target audience.
You can find detailed information about the functions of Newsletter2Go at the following link: https://www.newsletter2go.de/features/newsletter-software/.
Legal basis
Data processing is carried out on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You may revoke this consent at any time. The lawfulness of data processing already carried out remains unaffected by such revocation.
Storage period
The data you provide to us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and, after you have unsubscribed, will be deleted both from our servers and from the servers of Newsletter2Go. Data that we have stored for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the members’ area) is not affected by this.
After you unsubscribe from the newsletter mailing list, your email address may be stored by us or by the newsletter service provider in a blacklist to prevent future mailings. The data in this blacklist is used solely for this purpose and is not combined with any other data.
This serves both your interests and our interest in complying with legal requirements for sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Storage on the blacklist is not limited in time. You may object to this storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.
For more information, please refer to Newsletter2Go’s privacy policy at: https://www.newsletter2go.de/features/datenschutz-2/.

Additional text
If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter offered on our website, we require your email address as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and that you agree to receive the newsletter. To ensure that newsletters are sent only with your explicit consent, we use the so‑called double opt-in procedure. In this process, the potential recipient is first added to a mailing list. The user then receives a confirmation email giving them the opportunity to confirm their subscription in a legally compliant way. Only after this confirmation is received will the email address be actively added to the mailing list.
We use this data exclusively to send you the requested information and offers.
We use Newsletter2Go as our newsletter software. In this context, your data is transmitted to Newsletter2Go GmbH. Newsletter2Go is prohibited from selling your data or using it for any purpose other than sending newsletters. Newsletter2Go is a German, certified provider that has been selected in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act.
You can find more information here: https://www.newsletter2go.de/informationen-newsletter-empfaenger/
You can revoke your consent to the storage of your data and email address, as well as their use for sending the newsletter, at any time, for example via the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter.
Our data protection measures are continually updated in line with technical developments. For this reason, we kindly ask you to review our Privacy Policy at regular intervals to stay informed about our current data protection practices.

Use of Google Maps
This website uses the Google Maps service. This allows us to display interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to use the map function with ease. When you visit the website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. This happens regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in, or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly associated with your account. If you do not want this association with your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for purposes of advertising, market research and/or the tailored design of its website. Such analysis is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to deliver advertising tailored to your needs and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles; to exercise this right, you must contact Google. Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by Google, as well as additional information on your related rights and settings options to protect your privacy, can be found at:www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
Privacy Policy for Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. If the controller responsible for data processing on this website is located outside the European Economic Area or Switzerland, Google Analytics data processing is carried out by Google LLC. Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited are hereinafter referred to as “Google”.
The statistics we obtain help us improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. This website also uses Google Analytics for cross-device analysis of visitor flows, which is carried out via a user ID. If you have a Google user account, you can disable the cross-device analysis of your usage in your account settings under “My Data” and “Personal Data”.
The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. Please note that Google Analytics on this website has been extended by the code “_anonymizeIp();” to ensure that IP addresses are collected in anonymized form. As a result, IP addresses are further processed only in truncated form, which rules out any direct link to an individual. Insofar as the data collected about you could be personally identifiable, this reference is immediately removed and the personal data is promptly deleted.
Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide the website operator with other services related to website usage and internet usage. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has committed to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
Google Analytics uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available via the following link:Disable Google Analytics.
You can also prevent the use of Google Analytics by clicking on this link: Disable Google Analytics. This will store a so‑called opt-out cookie on your device, which prevents the processing of personal data by Google Analytics. Please note that if you delete all cookies on your device, these opt-out cookies will also be deleted. This means you will need to set the opt-out cookies again if you want to continue preventing this type of data collection. Opt-out cookies are set per browser and computer/device and therefore must be activated separately for each browser, computer or other device.
IP anonymization
We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. This means that your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyze your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide the website operator with other services related to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
Browser plugin
You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting the settings of your browser software accordingly; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address), as well as from processing this data, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
Objecting to data collection
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking the following link. This will place an opt-out cookie that stops your data from being collected during future visits to this website: Disable Google Analytics.
You can find more information on how Google Analytics handles user data in Google’s Privacy Policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.
Order Processing
We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google and fully comply with the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
Demographic features in Google Analytics
This website uses the “demographic characteristics” feature of Google Analytics. This allows us to generate reports that include information about the age, gender, and interests of our site visitors.
This data comes from interest-based advertising by Google as well as from third-party visitor data. This data cannot be linked to any specific individual. You can disable this feature at any time via the ad settings in your Google account, or generally prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data as described under the section “Objection to data collection.”
Storage period
Data stored by Google at user and event level that is linked to cookies, user identifiers (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID) is anonymized or deleted after 14 months. You can find details at the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7667196?hl=de.
Privacy Policy for the Use of Google Web Fonts
This website uses so‑called web fonts provided by Google to ensure a consistent display of typefaces. Order processing in the online shop with customer account
We process our customers’ data in accordance with the data protection regulations of the Federal Data Protection Act (DSG) and the EU GDPR as part of the ordering procedures in our online shop, in order to enable them to select and order the products and services of their choice, as well as to ensure payment, delivery, and performance.
The data we process includes master data (inventory data), communication data, contract data and payment data. The individuals affected by this processing are our customers, prospective customers and other business partners. Processing is carried out for the purpose of providing contractual services within the operation of an online shop, including billing, delivery and customer service. In doing so, we use session cookies, for example to store the contents of the shopping cart, and permanent cookies, for example to store the login status.
Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b (fulfilment of order processes) and lit. c (legally required archiving) GDPR. The details marked as mandatory are required to establish and fulfil the contract. We only disclose data to third parties in the context of delivery, payment, or where permitted or required by law. Data will only be processed in third countries if this is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract (e.g. at the customer’s request for delivery or payment).
Users can optionally create a user account, which allows them in particular to view their orders. During registration, users are informed which details are mandatory. User accounts are not public and cannot be indexed by search engines such as Google. If users terminate their user account, their data relating to the user account will be deleted, unless retention is required for commercial or tax law reasons in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR. Information in the customer account remains stored until it is deleted and subsequently archived where there is a legal obligation to do so. It is the responsibility of users to back up their data after giving notice of termination and before the end of the contract.
As part of registration, subsequent logins, and the use of our online services, we store the IP address and the time of the respective user action. This storage is based on our legitimate interests, as well as those of our users, in protection against misuse and other unauthorized use. These data are generally not passed on to third parties, unless this is necessary for the enforcement of our claims or there is a legal obligation to do so pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR.
Deletion takes place after the expiry of statutory warranty and comparable obligations; the necessity of retaining the data is reviewed at irregular intervals. In the case of statutory archiving obligations, deletion takes place after these have expired.
Notice regarding data transfers to the USA (United States of America)
For the sake of completeness, we would like to point out that for users based in Switzerland, there are monitoring measures by US authorities that generally allow the storage of all personal data from Switzerland that has been transmitted to the USA.
This takes place without any differentiation, limitation, or exception based on the purposes pursued and without any objective criterion that would make it possible to restrict access by US authorities to the data, or their subsequent use of it, to very specific, strictly limited purposes that could justify the interference associated with both access to and use of this data. Furthermore, we draw your attention to the fact that, in the USA, individuals from Switzerland have no legal remedies that would allow them to obtain access to data relating to them and to have such data corrected or deleted, nor is there any effective judicial protection against the general access rights of US authorities. We explicitly inform the data subjects of this legal and factual situation so that they can make a properly informed decision regarding their consent to the use of their data.
For users residing in a member state of the EU, we would like to point out that, from the perspective of the European Union, the USA does not provide an adequate level of data protection.
